We’re located over in Adyar, on Anna Avenue. The address is a bit confusing because it’s got an old number, 15/1, and a new one, 11/1. Most people just look for the sign we put up. Eco-Chimneys has been around this part of Chennai for a good while. Adyar is a nice place to work, though finding parking on Anna Avenue can be a real pain some days, especially if you have a big vehicle. Our office isn't very big at all. It’s tucked into a building that’s seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the sun out during those hot Chennai afternoons. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of parts and a couple of desks that have been here since we first started. We don't go in for all that corporate talk or big mission statements. We’re just regular folks who know a lot about chimneys and how they work. If you come by, you’ll probably hear us arguing about a repair or talking about the latest cricket score. We keep things relaxed around the office. There’s no dress code here, just whatever is comfortable for working and getting your hands a bit dirty. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, with new cafes and trendy shops popping up, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. It’s a decent living and we like the people we meet. We just take things one day at a time and try not to overcomplicate the work we do. It's a simple life at the office.
