Located on 2nd Street in Srinivasa Nagar, we are pretty close to the Koyambedu area in Chennai. The heat in this city can really do a number on your skin and hair, so we see a lot of people coming in for that. It’s a simple clinic, nothing like those high-end places you see in the malls. We have a few rooms where we do the treatments. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy because the street is narrow and people park their scooters right outside. We’ve had to tell people to move their bikes more than a few times. Inside, we keep things as cool as we can with the fans and AC. We deal with stuff like rashes, hair fall, and some of the basic cosmetic things people ask for these days. It’s mostly just people from the local neighborhood or those passing through Koyambedu. The walls are painted a light color, though there are some scuff marks near the door. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor, as long as the tools are working and the patients are taken care of. Working in Chennai means dealing with the humidity every single day, and it shows on the faces of people who walk in. We just take it one person at a time. It’s a steady pace here on No 2/42, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street.
