Shree Iyyappan Brick Supplied

We started Shree Iyyappan Brick Supplied quite a few years back now over on 9th Street in Periyar Nagar. It’s a busy little spot in Vellakkal and we mostly spend our days getting bricks loaded up and sent out to people building nearby. If you’ve walked down 15, Periyar Nagar lately, you’ve probably seen our trucks or the stacks of red bricks sitting out front waiting to go. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that, just a desk and a phone and a lot of dust from the yard. Most of us here have been working with bricks for a long time so we know which ones are good and which ones aren't worth the trouble. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the yard, but we get it done. Usually, people just stop by because they saw the sign or heard about us from a neighbor who was fixing their wall. We keep things pretty simple here. We write down orders in a notebook and make sure the driver knows where he’s going. Sometimes the rain slows things down because the yard gets muddy, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a steady spot where folks can get what they need for their house projects without a lot of fuss or talking. It stays busy enough to keep us on our feet.
