Shree Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is tucked away on Sundaram Street in Purasawalkam. It’s the street right opposite Megala Theatre, so it’s easy enough to find once you know where to look. We mostly handle things like threading, hair oiling, and simple facials for the women in the neighborhood. The space inside is small and private, which is how our customers like it. We have a few chairs and some shelves where we keep the creams and threads we use every day. The walls are a plain color, and we have some mirrors so people can see the results. It’s usually quiet inside, except for the sound of someone talking or the hum of the ceiling fan. We don't have those big neon signs or anything like that. Just a simple board outside. We spend the day helping people look a bit neater before they go to a wedding or just for their regular routine. Sometimes it gets busy on weekends when everyone has time off. We try to keep the place tidy, though there’s always a bit of thread or hair on the floor by evening. It’s just us working here, doing what we know how to do. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street outside and the theater crowds nearby. It is a very practical place for anyone living nearby who needs their hair or skin looked after without any big drama.
