Showiz Events

Our office for Showiz Events is on the first floor of Dev Regency, which is on Dr Radhakrishnan Road in Mylapore. We are right across from the Hotel New Woodlands, which everyone knows. Mylapore is a great place to be, even if the traffic on RK Road is a total nightmare sometimes. Our space is basically a collection of desks, old event posters, and boxes of cables. It’s where we sit and try to figure out the logistics for the next big show we are working on. It’s not a very quiet place because someone is always on the phone with a vendor or a technician. We don't really have a corporate culture here. It's more about drinking way too much coffee and trying to meet deadlines. We spend a lot of time drawing layouts on scraps of paper or looking at photos of venues. When an event is coming up, the energy in the room gets a bit frantic, but that's just how it is in this line of work. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees. It's just a dedicated group of us who know how to get things done. We've had some long nights in this office, especially when we are preparing for a big launch. It’s a bit messy and unpolished, but it’s our base of operations and we’ve grown quite fond of it over the years. It isn't perfect, but we like the work we do.
