We are based at No 47 on Dr P V Cherian Salai in Egmore. Shobiz Experiential Communications Pvt Ltd is the name on the door but we just call it the office. Egmore is a central part of the city and it has that old-school feel with the big trees and older buildings. Our place is tucked away on this road and it’s a bit quieter than the main junctions. We work on all sorts of communications and events from here. The inside is full of computers and people talking about layouts or schedules. It’s a bit more organized than some places but it still has that lived-in feel. We have been in this building for a while now. There’s always someone running around with a laptop or a phone. We don't really do the whole corporate speech thing. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day. Egmore is a good spot for us because it’s easy to get to different parts of the city from here. We spend a lot of time in meetings just trying to figure out how to make things work for our clients. It’s a lot of practical stuff like checking dimensions or looking at budgets. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know and we like it here.
