Shivamayam Foods Private Limited

We operate out of No 15 T4 Gurukripa Apartments, which is on the 4th Cross Street in United India Colony. It’s right in the heart of Kodambakkam, Chennai. Being in an apartment complex means Shivamayam Foods Private Limited feels more like a home-based operation than a cold corporate office. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes with all the paperwork and the food samples we have lying around, but we make it work. The 4th Cross Street is usually pretty busy with people walking their dogs or kids coming home from school. We’ve got the T4 unit, so it’s a specific spot in the building that everyone knows by now. Kodambakkam is a lively neighborhood, and you can always hear the city sounds coming through the windows, which we don’t mind at all. We spend our days coordinating things and making sure our food products are being handled the right way. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or anything. We have a few desks and some storage space, and that’s about it. Most of the time, we’re just on the phone or checking the quality of what’s coming in. It’s a very hands-on way to run a business. We like being part of the local community here in the 600024 area. It feels more personal when you’re working from a place like Gurukripa Apartments rather than a big industrial park.
