Sekar Clinic

You can find Sekar Clinic at 26 Valmike Street. We are just off the East Coast Road in Thiruvanmiyur. It’s a quiet enough street considering how busy the main road gets. The clinic is in a regular building and we’ve been here for some time now. People from all over Thiruvanmiyur come here when they have a cough or need a checkup. We have a small desk at the front where we take down names. It’s not a corporate office, just a place for medicine. The walls are painted a light color and we have some benches for waiting. We see kids, adults, and the elderly. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to manage, but that's just how it is here. We focus on the basic health stuff. Our doctor has been practicing for a lot of years. He doesn't say much, but he knows his work. We aren't trying to be the biggest clinic in the city. We just want to be a reliable place for the people on Valmike Street and the surrounding area. There is a lot of salt in the air because we are near the coast, so things tend to age a bit faster. We just keep painting and fixing things up. It’s a simple life running a clinic. We start early and lock up when the last patient leaves. Most of our regulars just walk over from their houses nearby.
