Saroja Hollow Blocks

You can find Saroja Hollow Blocks over at No 3/564A on Jai Shankara Nagar 2nd Street. We are right in the Mgr Nagar area of Palavakkam. It is a busy part of town and we have been operating out of this spot for quite some time. Making hollow blocks is a messy business, and our site shows it. There is always sand and cement around the yard. We aren't tucked away in some fancy industrial park; we are right here in the neighborhood. People walking by on 2nd Street can see us working most days. It gets loud when the mixers are going, but the neighbors are used to us by now. Palavakkam is a good place to be, even if the traffic gets backed up on the main roads. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the molds and the drying process. The yard is usually packed with blocks in various stages of being ready. We don't have a showroom or a receptionist. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk up to the gate and shout over the noise. It is hard work and the days are long, especially when the humidity is high. We just focus on getting the blocks made and sent out to the local sites. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the narrow streets, but we do our best.
