We've been here on Dr. P. V. Cherian Crescent Road for a while now. Being up on the first floor at number 47 means we see a lot of the Egmore traffic every single day. Samreen Agro Commodities International Prvate Limited is mostly about getting things from one place to another. It’s hard work dealing with crops and trade stuff. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other days it's just us sorting through paperwork at our desks. We handle different types of goods, mostly agricultural things that people really need. Our office isn't fancy, just a workspace where we get things done. Most of the people working here have lived in Chennai their whole lives. We know these roads and how the weather affects the local supply. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going and try to stay cool. Dealing with international trade adds a layer of complexity we handle every day. It's not always easy, but we've stayed put here and made it work. People know where to find us if they need to talk about bulk orders or shipping schedules. We try to be straightforward with anyone who walks through the door. Usually, it's just the usual routine of checking prices and talking to suppliers on the phone. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just trying to keep the business moving along year after year. It's a living and we are okay with that.
