Tamil Nadu Minerals Ltd.

Our office is located at No. 31 Kamarajar Salai in the Chepauk area. Tamil Nadu Minerals Ltd. has been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. Being in Chepauk means we are near the water, which is nice when there's a breeze, but mostly it's just very busy with traffic. We deal with minerals and the paperwork that comes along with that. It isn't a flashy place. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the desks are piled high with files. We spend a lot of time talking to people on the phone and coordinating with the sites where the actual digging happens. It gets a bit noisy outside with all the cars going by on Kamarajar Salai. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people who need us already know where to find us. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know how the system works. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. The traffic on the road is really something else, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. We usually stay a bit later just to avoid the worst of it. The office building has a lot of history, and you can tell by the way the floorboards creak in some spots. We have a small fridge in the corner that makes a weird humming noise, but it keeps our water cold.
