We are situated inside the Ambassador Pallava Hotel on Montieth Road in Egmore. Even though we are in a hotel, we aren't one of those very expensive or exclusive places. We serve both ladies and gents, which keeps us pretty busy most days of the week. The hotel guests come in sometimes for a quick tidy-up, but we also have many regular people from around Egmore who have been coming to us for years. The space is decent and we try to keep it tidy and professional for everyone. Being at number 53 Montieth Road makes us easy to find for locals too. We do haircuts, shaves, and basic skin care. We have separate sections for men and women so everyone feels comfortable while they get their work done. The staff is experienced and they don't talk too much, they just get on with the job at hand. It's a quiet environment compared to the loud streets outside. We use standard products that you’d expect to see. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just know we are here inside the hotel building. It’s convenient for those staying there and for people working in the offices nearby who need a haircut during their break. We open in the morning and stay until the hotel starts getting quiet at night. It is a steady business and we like the people we meet every day.
