Renaissance Event Management

Our office is over on Peters Lane in Gopalapuram, right across from Sathyam Theatre. If there’s a big movie release, we can hear the fans cheering from our second-floor windows. It’s a lively spot to be in. Renaissance Event Management has been operating from No 116/207 for a while now. The building is one of those older Chennai structures with a lot of character and maybe a few leaky pipes when it rains hard. We don’t mind. It’s got a good vibe. We manage events, which sounds grand, but mostly it involves us being on the phone for hours or staring at spreadsheets. We don’t have a polished front desk with a logo behind it. Usually, you’ll just see someone’s lunch bag or a stack of newspapers when you walk in. We like being near the theater because it makes the area feel energetic. We are just regular people working hard. We don’t use scripts when we talk to clients. If a plan isn't going to work, we just say so. Being honest saves everyone a lot of time. Our team is small, and we’ve all been together long enough to know how each other thinks. We just want to do a good job and get through the day without too many hiccups. That’s the reality of life here in Gopalapuram for us. We just take things one day at a time and do our best.
