Rekha Clinic

Rekha Clinic is located at number 27 on Kamaraj Salai. We are right next to Mathias Church in Ashok Nagar. It’s a familiar spot for a lot of people who live around here. The clinic isn't very big, but it serves the neighborhood just fine for basic health things. I spend most of my day here checking people in and keeping the files in order at the front. Being on Kamaraj Salai means there is always something going on outside. The church next door is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. We try to keep the waiting area as tidy as we can, though it gets crowded on busy mornings. People from all over Ashok Nagar come by when they aren't feeling well. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. It has that old neighborhood feel to it which I personally like quite a bit. It’s not one of those shiny new medical centers, just a practical place for local health needs. Sometimes the street noise from Kamaraj Salai drifts in, but you get used to it pretty quickly. We just open up the doors every day and see who needs help. It’s a straightforward way to run things. Most of our regulars know us by name and we know them too. It feels like a real part of the community here next to the church.
