Rcn Studios

You can find Rcn Studios over in Vyasarpadi, specifically at Kamal Illam on Muthu Street. We are up on the third floor, so there is a bit of a climb to get up here, but it keeps us away from the direct noise of the street mostly. We are right near the Market Bus Stop, which is always crawling with people and buses going every which way. Being in Vyasarpadi, things are always a bit gritty and real. Our studio space is where we spend most of our hours, working on whatever projects are on the desk that week. It might be photos, it might be sound, it just depends on what the customer needs. The walls are a bit thin, so we sometimes hear the market noise, but you get used to it after a while. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know our way around the equipment. We don't have a lot of expensive decorations in the office; we prefer to just have the stuff we actually use for work. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the internet goes slow, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be the biggest studio in Chennai, just a place where people can come and get their stuff done without a lot of talking. It’s a practical setup for people who live and work around here.
