Rana Clinic

You can find Rana Clinic at 70 Purasawalkam High Road. If you know Chennai, you know how packed and loud this road can get. There are shops everywhere and people are always rushing somewhere. Our clinic is right in the thick of it. It’s an old building, and the entrance is a bit narrow, so you have to look closely or you might walk right past it. Inside, it’s much calmer than the street outside. We have high ceilings and heavy fans that hum all day long. I spent a lot of my childhood in Purasawalkam, so I like the energy of the area, even if the traffic is a nightmare sometimes. We get all sorts of people coming in—shopkeepers from down the street, office workers on their lunch break, and residents who have lived here for forty years. We don't do anything fancy. It is just a place to get checked out when you aren't feeling right. The waiting room gets a bit stuffy when it’s full, but we leave the windows open when the air is clear. We don't have a website or an app to book things. People just come in, wait their turn, and we talk. Sometimes the pharmacy next door delivers things over for us if we are too busy to send someone. It is a local way of doing things, and it has served us well over the years.
