Rajesh Chemicolor Pvt. Ltd. is located at number 27 on Barnaby Road in Kilpauk. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads nearby. We’ve been operating from this location for a good number of years now. Our business is focused on various chemicals and colors used in different industries. It’s a bit of a niche field, but it’s what we know best. The office is in a building that looks like a house, so it feels very cozy and familiar. We don't have a lot of random walk-in customers during the day. Most of our work is done through regular clients we’ve known for a long time. Mornings are usually spent going through the mail and checking the latest price lists from manufacturers. Staying on top of the market changes is a big part of the job. Sometimes we have to explain to people why a certain color isn't available or why the price has changed recently. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just explain the situation as it is. The staff here is like a small family because we’ve all been together for quite a while. Big corporate meetings are not our thing. We just talk over lunch about what needs to be finished. Kilpauk is a nice, green area to work in. It’s not too far from the center of the city which helps with logistics. We just want to keep doing what we do well. A steady business that treats people right is enough for us.
