Rachel Herbal Beauty Parlour

Our shop is on Mangapathy Street in Chindatripet. It is a bit of a tight street, but people find us eventually. We focus on using herbal things because that is what our customers like and ask for. We mix some of the pastes ourselves using old methods we learned from our elders a long time ago. The address is 58/1 and 8/1, so we have a bit of space there for everyone. It is not a corporate chain, just a local business run by people who live nearby. We do threading, henna for hair, and different kinds of skin packs. Many women come here before festivals to get their hair done or just to tidy up for a family event. We don't use a lot of those heavy chemical products you see in the big malls. The smell of sandalwood and neem is usually in the air when you walk in. It is a humble place with simple wooden furniture and mirrors. We don't have air conditioning, just fans, but it stays cool enough for the work we do. We listen to the stories of our customers while we work on their hair or skin. It’s like a small community hub for the ladies in this part of Chennai. If you are walking down Mangapathy Street, you will see our board outside. We try to keep the prices fair so everyone can come. It is just a regular part of the day for us.
