Pozo Mens Beauty Salon

Pozo Mens Beauty Salon is right there at No.11/45 on Konnur High Road. We are pretty close to the Ayanavaram signal, so you can’t really miss the shop when you’re stuck in traffic. It’s a busy spot in Chennai, but we like being in the middle of it all. We set up this place because we wanted a simple shop for guys to get a haircut or a shave without any fuss. The shop isn't fancy or anything. We have some decent chairs and the usual tools. Most of the people who come in live right around here in Ayanavaram. We see the same faces every few weeks. It’s nice to know people’s names and how they like their hair done. Sometimes the place gets a bit crowded on Sunday mornings, and guys just sit and talk about the news or whatever is happening on the street. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything. People just walk in because they saw the sign or heard from a neighbor that we do a decent job. We just try to be honest and do the work right. It’s a small team here, just a couple of us who have been cutting hair for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure everyone looks a bit better when they leave. That’s basically our story.
