Pink Lady Beauty Parlour

Pink Lady Beauty Parlour is located at New No 6 on Penshaners 1st Cross Lane in the Mint area. It used to be Old No 18, which sometimes confuses the delivery boys, but we are easy to find once you get near Krishna Theatre. This is a place mostly for the ladies who live in the narrow lanes around here. We do a lot of the usual stuff like eyebrow threading, waxing, and hair cuts. The lane is quite narrow, so you can't really bring a car right to the door, but most people just walk over from their homes. We have some posters on the walls showing different hairstyles, though most people just ask for what they always get. It gets very busy during the wedding season or before festivals like Deepavali. That is when we are on our feet from morning until late at night. We use simple stuff, nothing too expensive or complicated. The chairs are getting a bit old now, but they are still okay to sit in. I usually keep a bottle of water for anyone who comes in looking tired from the heat. The shop is small, and we have to move things around if more than three people are waiting. It feels like a neighborhood spot where everyone knows each other’s business. We just do our work and listen to the stories people tell while we are working on their hair.
