Picnic Pavilion

We are located at No 7/8 inside the G S Aishwarya Flats. It is on the first floor here in Mandaiveli. If you know Arulappan Street, you know it is quite close to the Foreshore Estate area. The stairs up to our place are just like any other apartment building in this part of Chennai. We have been here for a bit now. Sometimes the breeze from the coast comes through if the windows are open, though mostly it is just the usual city sounds. People often get lost looking for the specific flat number, but once you find Arulappan Street, it is not too bad. The building itself is older, nothing fancy, just a regular place where we get our work done. We call ourselves Picnic Pavilion and we use this space every day. There is a lot of traffic nearby because of the estate, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just sit here on the first floor and handle things as they come. It is a simple setup with desks and some chairs. Mandaiveli is a busy place, always something happening outside. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address on the door. It feels like home because it is basically a converted residential space. We like the neighborhood even if it gets noisy during the rush hour. We just keep our heads down and do what we need to do from this flat.
