Paterson Cancer Center - Gipsa Ppn

The Paterson Cancer Center sits at 175 N.S.K. Salai in Vadapalani. That road is one of the busiest in the whole area, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Being a cancer center, the atmosphere inside is usually pretty quiet compared to the street. We deal with Gipsa Ppn stuff too, so a lot of the work involves sorting out insurance papers and making sure all the codes are right. The building itself is quite large and has been part of the Vadapalani landscape for a while. We aren't trying to be the flashiest place on the block. Most of us who work here are just focused on the daily tasks, like getting charts ready or helping someone find the right room. The elevators can be a bit slow when the building is full, but that’s just how it is. It’s a practical space. There aren't any fancy slogans on the walls or big speeches about what we do. People come in because they have to, and we try to make the process as normal as possible for them. It’s hard work, and the days can be long, but it’s a living. We’ve got a routine down after all these years at this address. It’s just a medical office on a very busy street, doing what needs to be done for the patients who walk in every single day.
