We are P. L. Shipping & Logistics Pvt. Ltd., and you can find us on the third floor of our building at 56/57 Rajaji Salai. Being located on Rajaji Salai means we’re right near the heart of the shipping activity in the city. You can almost smell the salt air and the diesel from the harbor from here. Our office is usually a bit of a whirlwind with people tracking shipments and making sure containers are where they need to be. Logistics is a messy business sometimes, with delays and paperwork that seems to never end, but we’ve been doing it long enough to stay calm when things get hectic. The third floor is a good spot, away from the immediate noise of the street but still close enough to the action. We have a lot of files, computer screens glowing all day, and phones that don't seem to stop ringing. It’s not a fancy setup, just a functional space where we manage the movement of goods. We don’t go in for much decoration; we’d rather spend the time making sure a cargo load isn't stuck at the docks. Most of us have been working together for years, so we have a rhythm that doesn't need much explaining. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. If you come by, you’ll probably see us buried in manifests or arguing with a carrier over the phone.
