If you're looking for P. L. R. Nursery & Gardens, we are over in Vadapalani. Specifically, we're in 5th Block, 4-D of Santhi Towers on Arcot Road. It’s a bit of a climb or a lift ride depending on how you’re feeling. Being in an apartment complex like Santhi Towers means we don't have a massive field, but we make the most of the space we have. Dealing with plants in a place like 88 Arcot Road is interesting. It gets quite a bit of sun which helps. Most of us here just really like greenery. We spend a lot of time moving pots around and making sure everything has enough water. It’s not a glamorous job. Your hands get dirty and sometimes the floor is a bit muddy, but that’s just how it is with a nursery. People from around the neighborhood stop by quite often. We know most of the regulars by name now. Vadapalani is a busy part of town, so it’s nice to have a little green corner in the middle of all that noise. We don’t do big fancy advertisements. Most people find us by word of mouth or just seeing the sign. We’re just here doing our thing with the plants every day. It's a simple life and we prefer it that way. Sometimes we run out of space for new stock, but we figure it out as we go along. It's just part of the daily routine.
