Orlanda Event Studio

We’ve got our studio at Ac 85 on 3rd Street in Anna Nagar. If you know the area, we’re right next to the Pazhamudircholai, which is a pretty popular landmark for anyone getting their fruits and vegetables. Being in Anna Nagar is good because everything is close by, but the traffic on 3rd Street can be a bit of a headache during the evenings. Inside the studio, it’s mostly a lot of planning and coordination. We have some tables pushed together where we lay out floor plans and schedules for the events we’re working on. It’s not a very big space, so things can get a bit messy with coffee mugs and rolls of paper everywhere. We’re just a small group of people who enjoy the process of putting things together. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, one of us just looks up from a laptop when someone walks in. It’s a very informal atmosphere. Some days we’re out on-site most of the time, so the studio stays locked up and quiet. Other days, we’re here late into the night trying to fix a schedule that isn't quite working. It’s just the reality of the work. We don't have any grand statements to make. We just show up at Ac 85, do our bit, and try to keep everything moving in the right direction. It's a busy life but it's ours.
