New Malaysia Salon

New Malaysia Salon has been around on Bangaaru Naickkan Street for quite a long time. We are tucked away near Mount Road, right by the Devi Theatre. It is an old part of Chennai and things haven't changed much around here. Our shop is at number 15/27. It’s a place where men come for a regular haircut or a quick shave before going to work. We have a few old chairs that are still very comfortable. Being near the theatre means there is always some noise and people moving about. We get all sorts of customers, from people working in offices on Mount Road to those who have lived in this street for generations. We don't do any of that modern styling that you see in malls. We just do the classic cuts. The water can be a bit tricky sometimes in this part of town, but we manage. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but it’s cool enough even when the sun is beating down outside. It is a small team here, just three of us working. We know how to handle the scissors and the razors properly. If you want a place that feels like old Chennai and doesn't charge you a fortune, you can find us here. We don't really advertise, people just know we are here behind the main road. It’s just a reliable spot where you get what you pay for without any extra fuss.
