National Mens Beauty Parlour

You can find us at 43 Mint Street in the Sowcarpet area. It is right across from the Syndicate Bank, so it is a very easy spot to locate even when the street is crowded with shoppers and rickshaws. Mint Street is always buzzing and we are right in the middle of all that action. Our shop has been around for a while now and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside, it is a bit of a relief from the sun and the dust outside. We have our regulars who come in every couple of weeks for a shave or a trim. Sometimes young guys come in asking for something they saw in a movie, and we do our best with the scissors and comb. We have a couple of large mirrors that take up most of one wall. The floor is grey stone and it stays cool under your feet. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. People just know where we are. We keep our combs in jars of blue liquid and the smell of shaving cream is always in the air. It is just a normal shop where we work hard and talk to the neighbors. When the bank closes for the day, things usually quiet down a bit for us too, which is nice for the last few haircuts.
