Narmada

Narmada is based right here in Chennai. We’ve been operating out of this city for a good bit now, and we’ve seen how much it has changed over the years. It’s a big place, but we try to keep things feeling a bit more personal. We don't really go in for those flashy advertisements or big promises that everyone else seems to like. Instead, we just focus on the work we have in front of us each day. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather gets really hot and nobody wants to be out on the road. We have a small team of people who actually care about what they are doing. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of departments; we are just a group of people who know the local area and want to do a decent job. It's not always perfect, and sometimes we run into delays like anyone else, but we always try to be straightforward with people. If something is going to take longer, we say so. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and go home. People in Chennai appreciate that kind of directness. We’ve found that being honest and just being ourselves works out better in the long run than trying to sound like some big international firm. It’s just how we prefer to run things because it keeps life simple for us and for the people we work with every day.
