We are located in the A S A Gnanasambandam Building, specifically on the 4th floor at 8/19. The office is right on Dr Natesan Salai, not too far from the Ashok Pillar landmark. It is a very central part of the city, so there is always something going on outside. The traffic on Dr Natesan Salai can be a real headache during the morning and evening rush, but that is just part of being in this area. N L C Nalco India Ltd has been in this building for a bit now. Being on the 4th floor gives us a bit of a view, though it is mostly just other rooftops and the tops of trees. The lift in the building can be a bit slow sometimes, so we often end up taking the stairs if we are in a hurry. It is a typical office setting with desks, files, and people constantly on their phones or computers. We are surrounded by other businesses and shops, so there is never a shortage of places to grab a quick coffee or lunch. The building itself is well-known in the Ashok Pillar area. It is a functional space, nothing too elaborate or modern. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and head out. The atmosphere is just a busy office where people are working, reflecting the energy of the neighborhood outside our windows. Most of the team has been here for years.
