N G L Constructions is based out of Nityanand Nagar in Tambaram. Our office is at number 12, right near where Hallu Builders have their setup. It’s a busy area and there is always some kind of building going on nearby, which makes sense for what we do. We started small, just a few of us with some tools and an old truck. Now we have a bit more than that but we still work the same way. We aren't some massive corporation with a skyscraper. We’re just local folks who know how to put things together. The office is usually full of blueprints and boots. It smells like cement and old paper most of the time. We spend more time out at the actual sites than sitting behind a desk. Tambaram is a good spot for us because we can get to different parts of the city fairly easily, even with the traffic. My brother helps out with the books and I handle the crew. We’ve had some long days where things didn't go as planned but we always find a way to fix it. We don't use any fancy talk to describe what we do. We just build stuff and try to make it solid. People around Nityanand Nagar know us well enough. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors stop by to chat sometimes. It is just honest labor for us.
