Motion Arts

Motion Arts is a small place located at No 14, Chengalvarayan Street in Triplicane. We are very close to the Parthasarathy Temple, so we are right in the middle of a very traditional and busy part of Chennai. We work on all sorts of art and digital motion projects. Our building is quite old and doesn't have an elevator, so we get a bit of a workout going up and down the stairs. Inside, it is just a simple room with our computers and drawing tools. We do not have any fancy decorations or a front desk. Usually, one of us just stops what we are doing to answer the door. We spend a lot of time focused on our screens, trying to get the details right. Triplicane is a crowded neighborhood and the streets are narrow, but it has a lot of soul. We have been here for several years now. We do not go in for big marketing pitches. We just show our work to people and if they like it, we move forward. Sometimes things get frustrating when the power goes out or a file gets corrupted, but we just deal with it. We often grab some food from the local shops nearby when we are working late. It is just a normal, small studio life.
