Mega Melodies

Our shop is at 14 Aranganathan Subway Road, right in the Kaveri Nagar area of Saidapet. We are pretty close to the Srinivasa Theatre, so we get a lot of people passing by after they catch a movie. The subway road is always noisy with traffic, and you can hear the rumble of cars and bikes all day long. Mega Melodies has been a part of this neighborhood for quite some time. We deal with music in different ways, mostly just helping people find what they need or setting up audio stuff. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass walls and uniforms. It’s a bit more old-school than that. We have shelves full of things and a few stools for people to sit on while they talk to us. The heat in Saidapet can be something else, so we keep the doors open to let some air in, even if it brings in the dust. We are just regular people who know a bit about music and sound. We don't use big words or try to sell people things they don't want. Most of our regulars are folks from around the corner who just want to chat about new releases or old songs. It is a simple life here near the theater. We open up in the morning and stay until the last show lets out, just keeping the music going for whoever stops by the neighborhood.
