Mediacom Public Relations

We are located out here in Eraiyur, near Chengam. It is a quiet place in the Tiruvanamalai district. Most days at Mediacom Public Relations start with the sound of local traffic and people heading to the fields. Our office isn't very big, just a few rooms where we handle the phones and the paperwork. We've been in this part of Tamil Nadu for a while now. Most of the staff comes from nearby villages. Sometimes the power goes out, so we have to wait a bit before getting back to the computers. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have some fans running. We handle various communication tasks for people who need to get their word out. It’s mostly about connecting different groups and making sure messages get delivered correctly. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks, chairs, and a lot of files piled up. If you are coming from Paichell, you just follow the main road until you see the post office. We are right in that area. Everyone knows everyone here, so it is a friendly atmosphere. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing up notices. It is simple work but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We usually take a long lunch break when the sun is at its peak. It's just how things work in this part of the country. We try to stay organized, even if the office looks a bit cluttered with papers sometimes.
