Mamta Beauty Saloon

We are at Shop No 13 in the Bhayaji Complex, right on Purasaiwalkam High Road. This part of Chennai is always crowded, and we’ve been part of the noise for quite a while. Our shop is close to the Doveton Bridge, which is how most people find their way to us if they aren't from the neighborhood. Purasawalkam is a busy area, but once you step into our little saloon, it’s a different pace. We aren't a big place, just a simple shop where we do our daily work. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that; it's just us running the show. Finding the complex is easy enough, but locating Shop No 13 among all the others takes a second. We like the energy of the High Road. There is always someone walking by or a bike zooming past. We spend our days mostly inside, keeping things ready for whoever stops in. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don't do much in the way of talking ourselves up. If the work is good, people come back. That’s how we’ve always seen it. Being near the bridge makes it convenient for folks coming from other parts of the city too. We keep the mirrors wiped as much as we can in such a busy spot.
