Malar Beauty Parlour

Malar Beauty Parlour is located at No 88 and J 13 in the Income Tax Quarters on Baraka Street in Kellys. We are on the 3rd floor, so you have to walk up a bit to get to us. Being near Uma Complex makes it easier for people to find the general area. Since we are inside the quarters, a lot of our customers are the ladies who live right here or in the nearby apartments. It is a very local feel, almost like visiting a neighbor's house. We have turned the space into a comfortable spot with mirrors and chairs for hair and skin work. We do things like facials, manicures, and basic hair styling. It is usually quiet during the middle of the day, which is when I like to organize the bottles and towels. In the evenings, it picks up as people come home from work. The view from the 3rd floor lets us see the street below and all the traffic moving towards Kellys corner. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to do everything. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator or just use the natural light from the windows. We use simple products that have been around for years. It isn't a place with a lot of glamour, just a practical shop where you can get your beauty work done.
