We are tucked away on Manickammal Street, specifically at No. 54. Epr Nagarullagaram is a quiet enough area most days. We make stuff that goes into kitchens. It started as a small idea and now we have a proper setup with some machines. It’s not a huge factory or anything like that. Just a few rooms where we process the food items. It gets quite hot in there during the afternoons. We have some fans, but they just move the warm air around. Still, we get the work done. Everyone knows their job. One person handles the grinding, another does the packing. We mostly chat while we work. It helps the time go by faster. Sometimes we mess up a batch and have to start over. It happens to everyone. We don't pretend to be perfect at all. The street outside is narrow, so deliveries can be a bit of a headache. The truck drivers usually complain about the turn into the street. We just tell them to be careful and take it slow. We've been here for many years. The neighbors know us by the smell of the spices being roasted in the pans. It’s a decent living. We aren't trying to take over the world. We just want to make sure the packets look okay and the food inside tastes right. That’s plenty for us to worry about every single day. We keep our heads down and just work.
