Leelavathi Clinic

Leelavathi Clinic is located at Number 40 on S N Chetty Street in the Royapuram area of Chennai. We are quite close to the Kasimedu Signal, which is a very busy and loud part of town. You can always hear the horns and the movement from the port nearby. The clinic is a small place tucked into the street. It’s been here for many years, and the building shows its age a bit. We haven't changed much over time. Inside, it’s just the basic setup for a doctor’s office. We have benches for patients to sit on while they wait. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have the fans running full blast. We see a lot of local workers and families from the Royapuram neighborhood. It's a hardworking area, and we try to match that. Most of our patients come in for everyday illnesses or minor injuries. We don't have any fancy computerized systems; we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with paper files. It works for us and our regulars know what to expect. Finding a spot for a car is nearly impossible on this street, so most people just walk or come by auto. We open our doors in the morning and stay until the last patient is seen. It's just a simple, local clinic helping the community near the coast.
