Out on Trunk Road in Srirangam North, you will see the Leeboy India Construction Equipment Pvt Ltd facility. Trunk Road is always busy with long-haul trucks, and we fit right in with all the heavy equipment we have sitting around. It’s a big open space because you need a lot of room to move graders and loaders. The wind blows across the road and brings a lot of dust into the yard, so we are always cleaning off the machines. We have a small office building on the site, but most of the action happens outside or in the service bays. It isn't the most beautiful part of Srirangam, but it’s practical for getting machines onto the highway. We have a team that knows these machines inside and out. We don't wear suits; we wear heavy boots and high-visibility vests because safety is a real thing when you’re around moving steel. The tea lady comes by in the afternoon, and that’s usually when we take our only real break. It’s a lot of physical work and the sun can be brutal out on the asphalt. We don't have a fancy showroom.
