Laser Computer Clinic is located at No: 2/5 Gee Gee Electronic Arcade. We are up on the 2nd floor. This part of Narasingapuram Street on Mount Road is always loud and full of energy. It’s basically the heart of the electronics market here in Anna Salai. We have been fixing computers and dealing with parts for years. The shop is often full of monitors, open CPU cabinets, and tangled cables. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time at the workbenches with screwdrivers and soldering irons. People bring in laptops that won't start or desktops that are making strange noises. We don't have a corporate reception area. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently elbow-deep in a machine. The arcade is old and has its quirks, like the smell of soldering flux and the constant sound of people haggling downstairs. It’s a gritty, hardworking environment. We take the computers apart, find what’s broken, and try to get it running again as fast as we can because we know people need them for work. Anna Salai is a hectic place to be every day, but this is where the action is for electronics. We just keep our heads down and focus on the hardware. It's what we know how to do.
