Hitech Computer Centre

You can find Hitech Computer Centre on the 5th floor of City Centre Plaza. We are at Door No 3, which is tucked away behind Shanthi Theatre on Anna Salai. Being on Mount Road means we are right in the middle of everything, even if we are high up in the building. The lift in this plaza can be a bit slow sometimes, so we tell people to be patient. We’ve been working from this office for years. It’s a good spot because we can see the city from the windows, even if we are usually looking at a screen. We handle a lot of computer maintenance and parts replacement here. The space is filled with tall shelves of components and old manuals that we probably should have tossed out a long time ago. Since we are behind the theater, we sometimes hear the muffled sounds from the movies during the day. It’s a bit of a maze to get to us if it’s your first time in the building. We aren't a big flashy store; it’s more of a service center where we focus on the technical side of things. Most of our visitors are people who have known us for a long time. We keep the air conditioning running because the heat gets pretty bad on the 5th floor. It’s a simple operation, just us and the tools we need to fix machines.
