L&T Constructions

Down at 63 Attipattu, along Railway Station Road, is where L&T Constructions handles its local operations. Being so close to the station means there is a constant hum of trains and people moving about, which fits the energy of a construction office. We have a lot of heavy equipment coming and going from this site. The yard is usually filled with stacks of materials and the sound of machines being loaded onto trailers. It’s a dusty place and your boots are never going to stay clean for more than five minutes once you step out of the office. We spend most of our time looking at blueprints or arguing about where a shipment of gravel has gone. It is a tough job and the weather doesn't always play nice, especially when it rains and the whole ground turns into a mess. Our team here is made up of people who have been on sites for years, so we don't spend a lot of time on small talk. We just want to get the structures up and move on to the next phase of the project. The office is basically just a place to store the files and take a quick break out of the sun. Railway Station Road is a practical location for us because it makes getting things in and out much easier. We aren't here to make things look pretty; we are here to build things that stay standing. It's hard work, but it’s what we do.
