We are located at No 13 C in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. If you know the area, you know it is always loud and full of trucks. Our place, Sommappa Comfort Systems, is right in the thick of it. It’s an industrial vibe here, with machines running and people shouting over the noise. We’ve been working out of this unit for a long time. It’s a small team of us. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. You just walk in and you’ll see us working. The traffic getting into Ambattur in the morning is a real headache most days. We usually start our day with some coffee and a quick chat about what needs to be done. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of orders. Sometimes things get a bit messy on the shop floor, but we manage to get everything out on time. We’ve known the guys in the neighboring units for years. We often help each other out if someone is short on a tool or a part. It’s more like a neighborhood than just a business park. We don't spend any time on fancy brochures or marketing talk. We’re usually too busy making sure the systems are built right. It’s just a regular industrial job. We work hard, we deal with the heat, and we go home.
