L. S. Export

We operate L. S. Export from 20-B, Madhana Palayam Street in the Pillaiar Palayam area of Kancheepuram. Kancheepuram is a famous place, but our corner of it is pretty quiet. We spend most of our time surrounded by boxes and packing tape. Exporting things involves a lot of paperwork and making sure everything is labeled correctly so it doesn't get lost. It can be a bit of a headache when the shipping schedules change, but that’s the nature of the business. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The building is old but it holds everything we need. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our work happens on the phone or through emails, then we get to the physical part of moving the goods. L. S. Export isn't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us making sure the orders go out on time. Sometimes we stay late when a big container needs to be filled. Madhana Palayam Street is where we feel at home. We know the other business owners nearby and we all just try to get through the day. We don't have a big philosophy about what we do. We just send things where they need to go and hope the transport goes smoothly. It’s a lot of logistical work but it is what we know how to do.
