L. K. S. Jewel Palace

You can find L. K. S. Jewel Palace at Plot No. 260 on Paper Mills Road. We are in Perambur, not far from the Gandhi Statue, which is a big landmark around here. It’s a jewelry shop, but it’s not the kind of place where you feel like you have to whisper. We’ve got glass cases filled with various pieces, and we spend a lot of time cleaning them because of the dust from the road outside. People come in looking for something for a wedding or maybe just a small gift. We don't have a huge sales team, just a couple of us who know the inventory. The shop gets pretty crowded during the festival seasons, and it can get a bit loud with everyone talking at once. We like the energy of Perambur. There's always someone passing by or stopping to look at the window. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s slow and watch the traffic go towards the statue. We aren't part of some big chain. It’s just our shop on Paper Mills Road. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing down. We just keep doing what we do, showing people the jewelry and helping them find what they need. It’s a simple business and we try to keep it that way.
