Down here at 979 Mount Poonamalle High Road in Manapakkam, things stay pretty busy. L & T Infrastructure Development Projects Ltd is a big name, but inside these walls, it’s just a lot of people sitting at desks trying to figure out how to build things properly. We see the traffic moving outside all day long. It’s a bit of a maze in here with all the blueprints and files. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at computer screens. The air conditioning is usually running because it gets so humid outside. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. People come and go constantly, heading out to sites or coming back with mud on their shoes. It’s not like those shiny offices you see in movies. There are stacks of folders everywhere and people arguing over deadlines in the hallways. We just try to keep everything moving forward without too many mistakes. Sometimes the projects feel huge and a bit overwhelming, but we take it one day at a time. We don’t really do anything flashy. We just show up, do the planning, and deal with the endless emails. Manapakkam is a good spot for us, even if the road gets blocked up sometimes. It’s a long day usually, but seeing a project finally get finished makes the long hours feel like they meant something.
