Koan Chemical & Engineering Pvt. Ltd.

We are over at No. 3/2 on 7th Cross Street in K K Nagar. Most people around Kattupakkam know the area because of the small shops and the residential feel of the side streets. We started Koan Chemical & Engineering Pvt. Ltd. a while back, and it has always been a bit of a mix here. Some days we are buried in engineering sketches and drawings, and other days it is all about the chemical side of the business. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can keep our files and meet the odd visitor who comes by. We have a few desks and a lot of samples sitting around on the shelves. Sometimes the fans don't quite keep up with the heat in the afternoon, but we just get on with it. People stop by to ask about technical stuff or just to check on when their order will be ready. It is mostly us handling the day-to-day work, answering the phone, and making sure the supplies get where they need to go on time. We don't spend much time on fancy stuff or presentations. If someone needs a part designed or a specific chemical mix, we see what we can do. The street outside can get a bit clogged with traffic around five, so we usually try to get our loading done early. It’s just how it is working in this part of town, and we’ve grown used to the noise.
