We are situated in T. Nagar, right inside Challa Mall on Sir Thyagaraya Road. Our office is up on the 8th floor, Suite 803. T. Nagar is probably the busiest shopping district in Chennai, so getting to work in the morning can be a real challenge with all the crowds. Once you get up to the 8th floor, it’s a bit quieter than the street level. We handle the local operations for the company from here. It’s mostly desks, computers, and files. We don't do any manufacturing at this location; it’s strictly for the administrative and sales side of things. The elevators in the mall can be slow, especially around lunch time when everyone is heading out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or in small meetings talking about chemical solutions and plating. It’s a more professional setting than a workshop, but we still keep things pretty simple. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and charts. Sometimes we go down to the lower floors of the mall to grab a quick snack or coffee. It’s a convenient place to be because everything is close by, but the traffic is definitely a downside. We’ve been in this suite for a while now and the view of the city from the window is actually pretty good when it’s not too hazy outside.
