Mmm Clinic

We have been sitting here at 43, Barnaby Rd for a good while now. It’s just a normal spot, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. The clinic stays pretty busy most mornings when the sun is still coming up and the street starts to wake up. We usually spend the first hour just getting things sorted out, making sure the chairs are lined up and the paperwork from yesterday is put away. Mmm Clinic isn't one of those giant places where you get lost in the hallways. It’s more of a place where you recognize the people coming through the door. Sometimes the radiator makes a bit of noise or the front door sticks if it has been raining, but we just deal with it. People come in with their usual complaints, maybe a cold or just needing a quick check on something. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to folks about when they can come by. Barnaby Rd can get a little crowded with cars in the afternoon, so we see a lot of that through the window. It is just a regular routine here. We try to keep the place tidy, though sometimes the magazines in the waiting area get a bit messy by lunchtime. There is always someone coming or going. We just do what needs to be done every day and then lock up when the sun goes down and the street gets quiet.
