Our place is over at NO.10 on the first floor on Veeramamunivar Street. This is in Kamarajapuram, which is part of the Rajakilpakkam area in Chennai. Being on the first floor means we are a little bit away from the direct noise of the street, but you can still hear the bikes and cars going past all day long. We focus on food products, so there is always some kind of smell in the air, maybe spices or whatever we are packing that day. The space is a bit tight sometimes because we have to fit the equipment and the supplies all in one area. We aren't a big factory or anything like that, just a small team working together. Most of our day is spent checking batches, sealing bags, and making sure the labels are on straight. It’s repetitive work but it has to be done right. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, and we are always hauling things up and down throughout the day. Kamarajapuram is a decent neighborhood, mostly regular families and other small shops like ours. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything; it’s just a workspace with some desks and the production area. We usually have the fans going full blast because it gets so stuffy inside during the summer months. It’s just us doing our thing and trying to stay busy with the orders that come in. We hope the power stays on so we can finish our work.
