Jeevan Orchestra

Jeevan Orchestra is on the first floor of May Complex, which is No 18/32 on Ramasamy Street in T Nagar. If you know Chennai, you know how hectic T Nagar can get with all the shopping and the crowds. Our office is right in the thick of it, near Dhandapani Street. We’ve been here for years, and the walls have probably heard every song we’ve ever practiced. It’s a simple space where we gather to plan our musical performances. We have instruments tucked into corners and stacks of sheet music on the tables. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s a place for musicians. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, and it can get noisy with the traffic outside, but we don’t mind. We focus on local events, weddings, and temple festivals where people want live music. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over time, but we’ve stayed right here. It’s a lot of coordination to get an orchestra ready for a show, and this office is where all that effort starts. We aren't looking for fame; we just like playing music and making sure the event goes well. People usually find us through word of mouth or by seeing our sign when they’re navigating the busy T Nagar lanes. It’s a busy life, but it’s our life. We don't have any flashy slogans, just the instruments and the music we make together every single day.
